Fireworks display in summer concertsNew Zealand has been described by National Geographic as a 'world in miniature'. In the South Island you will see magnificent fiords, sparkling snow covered alps, pristine lakes, ancient glaciers, sub-tropical forests and rolling farmlands. In the North Island experience golden sandy beaches, hot thermal springs, soaring geysers, active volcanoes and exotic native bush.

If you are considering a holiday in New Zealand, naturally you'll want to experience the very best the country has to offer. Whether it's a discovery of the mighty Milford Sound, the awe inspiring whales of Kaikoura, 'Te Papa' the brilliant new Museum of New Zealand, or Sky Tower, the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere, you are sure to enjoy yourself in New Zealand.

Spectacular fireworks displays are part of several free outdoor summer concerts that are held in the Auckland Domain. The concerts, including the annual Symphony Under the Stars, and Opera in the Park, can attract two to three hundred thousand people.
